Dividends paid monthly and applied to the balance of the certificate. The APY assumes that all dividends remain on deposit until maturity. Early withdrawal penalties do apply. Rate is fixed for initial term of certificate. At time of maturity certificate will automatically renew for a term of 12 months at the prevailing rate. IRA CDs are eligible for the 16-month CD, the $5,000 new money requirement is waived for the 16-month IRA CD only.
