On April 21, 2017, 55 juniors and seniors at Fannett-Metal High School participated in a Financial Reality Fair to give them a glimpse of what life may be like after graduation. The students chose their careers and were given budgeting worksheets with their annual and monthly salaries at entry level positions. To complete the worksheets, students visited 9 different stations which included transportation, housing, cell phone plans and the Wheel of Reality. They met with a financial counselor once they visited all the stations to ensure they were sticking to their budget and give them tips on how to stay focused financially.
