Spread Some Happiness!

The topic for the month’s contest will be posted by Monday at 12:00 pm ET each week.  If the contest takes place on a week in which the office will be closed on Monday, the topic will be posted by Tuesday by 12:00 pm ET. To be entered, you must post no later than Thursday, at 11:59 pm ET.

Prizes can be either picked up at our Chambersburg location in the lobby, through the drive through, or mailed to you.

This giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. No purchase is necessary. Participation constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to the terms and conditions of these official rules. Questions concerning any aspect of this sweepstakes will be resolved by 1^st Ed Credit Union management and any such resolution shall be final.

Eligibility: This giveaway is open to all active followers of 1^st Ed’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/1stedcu) at least eighteen (18) years of age who comment on 1^st Ed ‘s Giveaway post via Facebook.

Timing: The giveaway begins when posted, and can be entered any time during the week in which the giveaway is announced.  Winners will be posted by the end of the week. 1^ST Ed Credit Union may end the sweepstakes at any time, at its own discretion and without prior notification.

Entry Criteria: No purchase is necessary. Entries for the giveaway must be submitted on 1^st   Ed’s Facebook page in the “Spread Some Happiness” giveaway post(s) on 1^st Ed’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/1sted) or by commenting on the applicable posts on 1^st Ed’s Facebook page. One (1) entry per person per week. 1^st Ed reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at any time, which in 1^st Ed’s opinion does not comply with these Official Rules.

Prizes: By random drawing, by Friday of the week in which the giveaway is announced at 2:00 pm ET. One (1) gift card (value: $25) for various prizes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the promotion period.

Verification of Winners: The potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The winner will be notified by Facebook message or email the following business day. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, is disqualified for any reason, or fails to claim the prize within the required time, 1^st Ed will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Winners will have up to thirty (30) days to claim their prizes from the date of notification by 1^st Ed that they have won. In order to receive the prize, the winner is not required to purchase any goods or services or pay any money.

General Consent: By entering this giveaway, entrants agree to be contacted by 1^st Ed Credit Union email regarding their entries.

Consent to Publicity and Release: Participation in the promotion constitutes winner’s consent to 1^St Ed’s use of winner’s name, photograph, voice and/or opinion for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration, unless prohibited by law. The winner also agrees to release and hold harmless 1^st Ed from all claims of any kind related to the publication of name to those who request the Winner List.

Taxes: The prize winner is responsible for the payment of all applicable federal, state, and local taxes imposed on the prizes.

Liability: All entrants release 1^st Ed and its officers, directors, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this giveaway from all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from, this giveaway.

Exclusions: Employees, directors, and their family members or members of their household are excluded from winning a prize as a result of this contest.
