1st Ed Credit Union is excited to announce improvements to our credit card program and we want to make you aware that a few changes to your credit card account will occur.
You will receive your new credit card in the weeks leading up to June 24. As of June 24, you will no longer be able to use your current credit card and may activate and begin using your new credit card. We’re excited to offer you our new 1st Ed credit card and remain committed to providing you with great service!

Managing your credit card.
As of June 21, 2024, credit card information is unavailable in online and mobile banking. Your credit card can still be used at this time. Beginning June 25, you can manage your credit card by adding it to SmartWallet through the 1st Ed mobile app or online banking. Please click here for instructions on accessing SmartWallet, adding cards, and more.
Replacement cards are being sent.
The credit card you were previously sent did not depict the correct credit card background image. Updated credit cards with the correct background image will be mailed out on June 24, please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery. Once you receive the corrected card you will need to re-enter the new credit card information into SmartWallet. We recommend waiting to contact merchants to update your card information for recurring or preauthorized payments (such as monthly telephone, electricity, gas bills, insurance, clubs) until after you have received the replacement card if possible.
