Celebrate International Credit Union Day!

On October 15, 2026, 1^st Ed Credit Union will join over 65,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day®.

ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members work towards achieving their financial goals with our “people helping people” mission. This year, we’re celebrating with the theme “A Steady Signal in a Noisy World” to remind members that in a world full of uncertainty and constant change, credit unions remain a steady signal: rooted in trust, people, and community. Stop by any of our branches on October 15 for credit union trivia, a free snack, and giveaway opportunities to win a pair of noise-canceling headphones!

Both members and nonmembers are invited to visit our Chambersburg, Greencastle, and Hanover branches to participate in the celebration.
