As technology is ever-changing, Debit and Credit Card processors steadily monitor accounts for fraudulent charges. At the same time criminals are constantly finding ways to get private information from consumers. If you find that you have charges on your account that are fraudulent, follow the steps below to start the dispute.
  • Block Your Card
    • If you find fraudulent charges on your 1st Ed account contact us at (717) 264-6506.
      To block your card after hours, contact us at the number above and press 6.
    • No matter what time of day, contact your card provider to have the card blocked from future fraudulent charges.
  • Contact The Merchant
    • Contact the merchant that has fraudulently charged your account to start the dispute process.
    • Be sure to write down who you spoke with, dates of contact, and final outcome.
  • If There Is No Way To Contact The Merchant
    • Contact your card provider to start the dispute process.
    • Some Disputes may take up to 6 months to resolve.
